Hey friends,
As of today The Glass has a new chat function for subscribers.
You’ll need the Substack app to use it, and once you’re there you’ll be able to chat with me and with other subscribers.
I’ll probably use it for short, off-the-cuff updates about writing the gin book — the sort of things too ephemeral to make it into the main newsletter. That might be pictures of which gins I’m about to taste, or quick ideas of one-liners that didn’t make it into the book for one reason or another.
I’ve already started a thread where subscribers can introduce themselves and say hi. I’m always curious about who else reads the same newsletters as me. Aren’t you?
To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app (messages are sent via the app, not email). Turn on push notifications so you don’t miss a chance to join conversation as it happens.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but chat is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
